Above all, compassion.

Our Community

Our founder Kurt Hahn considered “the foremost task of education” to be the development in young people of “an enterprising curiosity, an undefeatable spirit, tenacity in pursuit, readiness for sensible self-denial, and above all, compassion.

To this day, compassion and service to others remain core to our ethos. Both staff and students engage in a wide range of charitable projects, locally and internationally, to support those in need.

It is not just what we teach in the classroom, it is the values we live by every day.

“There is more to us than we know. If we can be made to see it, perhaps for the rest of our lives we will be unwilling to settle for less."

- Kurt Hahn
